Joe Bannister, Director of Business Development for Pinnacle Contracting

Clayton, MO - April 2020 – For 23 years Pinnacle Contracting has been providing a full range of high-value, “start-to-finish” design and construction services to clients in St. Louis, as well as around the country.

“Our strengths are really our estimating and upfront pre-construction services,” Joe Bannister, Director of Business Development for Pinnacle Contracting said. “We are able to go from start to finish and finish strong. We bring projects in on time and within budget.”

Pinnacle Contracting does $20 million to $30 million in construction annually.  The company offers construction management, general contracting and design-build services.

“We do historic rehabs, medical, office, tenant finish and ground up construction,” Bannister said. “One of the things I love about construction is every day a new day.”

Pinnacle Contracting has an experienced leadership team, as well as an experienced team of project managers and construction superintendents in house.

“What sets pinnacle contracting apart from other contracting firms is our three owners,” Bannister said. “Add their time together in the real estate and construction business they bring close to a hundred years of experience.”

Bannister said the fact that the partners work well together and have the support of five project managers enables Pinnacle Contracting to offer a level of value few competitors are able to match.

“It is good team with a lot of experience. We are very flexible and nimble,” Bannister said. “For a construction company that is really key in this market today.”

“Right now, we are working on Front Page Lofts which was one of the original Post-Dispatch buildings,” Bannister said. “It is for Screaming Eagle Development and the architect is E+A.”

The three companies have teamed up to build approximately 300 historic rehab units in St. Louis. “We’ve done three buildings the past year with the team,” Bannister said.

“Construction is an interesting industry right now as we go through Covid,” Bannister said. “We’ve gone back to our basics.”   Bannister says the company is well-positioned for continued growth not only in St. Louis, but around the country.
